Now, let’s work on some things on reinforcing to our sub conscious that we are serious about loving ourselves. Here are some fun things you can choose from to add in to our routine and working on loving and nurturing yourself at the same time.
1) Plan one night a week that you have an undisturbed candle lit bubble bath 2) Plan one night a week to trade a friend for babysitting and you go pamper you in whatever way you want, it could be just a nap, read a book undisturbed, or meditate, anything that brings you peace and quiet. ( you can trade a night with a friend and help them love themselves too) 3) Buy yourself flowers one a month 4) Get a massage or pedicure once a month 5) Take 2 hours a week undisturbed, put on music, dim the lights and light some good smelling candles and just sit and enjoy. 6) Buy a yummy linen spray and spray your bed with it and enjoy and feel it when you go to sleep. 7) Buy yummy oil for your body and take a shower and cover yourself in the body oil and enjoy. 8) Write a love letter to yourself on how you feel about you if you were your own lover, then seal it and put it away and read it in a month or so. 9) Go buy yourself a gift, make it something you would not normally buy for you and in the past would only have if someone else bought it for you! 10) Please add your own ideas to this blog so we can have more to choose from. Many times we feel silly doing these things for ourselves, but if it is uncomfortable at first, it is a great indication of how difficult it is for us to love ourselves. Do it anyway, the uncomfortably will pass. Many times we only do these some of the things on the above list when we are with someone, like the linen spray or body oil.
