Anita Talks Genealogy covers the topic of Settlements of escaped slaves in Canada. The Underground Railroad was neither Underground nor a Railroad. There were many stops along the way for the former slaves, but many stayed on the road until it ended in Canada. One of the destinations in Canada was Bruxton, a Black Settlement in Nova Scotia. We follow the slaves on the Underground Railroad, and examine their lives in the newly formed settlements. Anita Talks Genealogy is hosted by Author Anita Wills, who shares Genealogy and History as it relates to the African American experience. Topics covered include, DNA Testing, Researching & Documenting Multi-Racial Lines, and how to write a Family History Book and Native American History, as well as other related topics. Tune in and Listen Up!!
