I am going to try and call in tomorrow. I'd like to say a few things about our politicians and their continuation of the health care crisis. I pay $750 a month for one person, that's $9,000 a year and politicians have the balls to say things are fine. Survey work is almost non-exstant. Assistance is based on gross income and does not allow for any deductions. If I buy $2,000 worth of stone bounds for lot corners in a subdivision when I bill the client his reimburesement counts as gross income. Last year I grossed a meager $38,000. After $18,000 of costs of stone bounds, iron pins, paint, equipment, all legitamate costs and after deducting health care it left me with $11,000.00 of personal income yet I don't qualify for assistance. I am self employed so I can't collect unemployment. This depression actually started in 2001 after just one year of Bush. I am able to work so I can't get dissability so as a result my savings are gone. But if I let it all get to me and have a massive nervous breakdown and can't work I am rewarded with housing assistance, food stamps and disability income. But the one thing I will not allow the government to do is steal my mind. Sometimes I wonder why I even try but livivng in the streets scares the Hell out of me. From 1985-2000 I made in excess of $300,000. Now I am forced to do jobs for less than I charged in 1985 in order to get work. Also did you know that those asshole, lieing, bible thumping ultra right wing fanatics are actually being coached by the John Birch Scociety which is alive and well and increasing in numbers. This man wants to start of by executing at least 10% of the US population as a twisted and demented offering to his god of love.
