Artist Lisa Carrier left Ohio and came to Los Angeles in 1985 to illustrate a book for the famous recording star Stevie Nicks. Soon after Lisa started her own company called Nouveau Gypsy Illustrations…”The Finest In Feminine Fantasy.” Her successful line of fairy stationery, bookmarks, and greeting cards sold worldwide and won her numerous awards. Lisa’s mediums include everything from watercolors and acrylics to tattoo work and sculpture. Lisa’s business has evolved over the years into Lisa Carrier Designs. A home decor and gift company that was created around her original old world European style artwork where Lisa personally designs every item in her home collection. She also has a thriving mural and faux finish business in LA, specializing in old world style. Her home décor line includes The Renaissance Candle Collection, Fairy Journals & Jewel Boxes, and Sacred Wall Hangings that are sold all over Los Angeles, and New York. Lisa’s star-studded A-list clients include, Christina Aguilera, Pam Anderson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourn, Bruce Willis, Cher, Kate Hudson, Pierce Brosnan, and Will & Jada Smith, to name a few.
