I've been a pediatric medical professional for twenty years, and have always been a deeply spiritual person. Being involved in animal rescue as well as therapy dog work, especially visiting hospice patients with our certified therapy dogs, has kept me in close proximity to the important things in life: what we are meant to accomplish on our mission here on Earth Since I was a little girl, I've had psychic flashes, precognitive dreams and intuitive experiences, and an inner sense of knowing, but I did not know how to harness it. It more or less would hit me in the face every once in awhile, unexpectedly and uncontrollably. I was able to look at a knot in a wooden wall and see a face form, or look at a tree trunk or a wrinkle in a blanket and see someone's features develop and then fade. Being from a strict Roman Catholic upbringing, I did not know this was a form of scrying. As a matter of fact, I did not hear the word "scry" until I was in my 30s. My spirituality grew and shifted as I matured and I learned about so many spiritual truths later in life that astounded me and shifted and expanded my spiritual direction, and I found that I then felt like I fit into my own skin.
