This week will feature an interview with Jack Durish, author of "Rebels on the Mountain" which is a riveting novel about the pre-revolution days in Cuba. Although it is a novel it affords a great look at the corruption of the Batista years and of the US Mafia involvement in pre-revolution Cuba. It is a great book with a facinating and enjoyable story. After discussing the book a bit we will shift gears and talk about the current situation in Cuba and the possibility of ending the insane embargo which has proved so counter productive over the years. Will the death of Hugo Chavez in Venezuela have an effect on our relationship with Cuba? Listen in to find Jack's views on this interesting topic and call in to express your own view if you like.
