I absolutely was blown away the first time I heard him read Loverlution about a year ago on Sound Of Ink.. he is becoming a force of nature in the spoken word world and I will talk to him about his shows.. his Album, and his charities that he unselfishly devotes his time to... I welcome you to join me let him know how wonderful he is. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Father, Conqueror, Revolutionary….Poet Born to a teenage mother, Demiko Aiken was adopted by a loving grandmother and grandfather. Despite all their efforts, the lure of the streets soon appealed to Demiko. Living in Washington D.C., Demiko was exposed to the tumultuous turmoil of the street life at an early age. In learning how to survive the streets, Demiko was exposed to and experienced with alcohol and drug use. Sinking into a deep depression, he became overwhelmed with thoughts of suicide. After two failed suicide attempts, Demiko decided to turn his life over to Christ. Gone was the life of the streets but now, Demiko became determined to focus on making a better life for himself and his children, Demiko Jr and Jordan. Demiko chose the name SUN OF MAN because coming out of his darkness, he has seen the light. He offers an inspirational message of hope, compassion, redemption, courage and love. Sun of Man’s message is laced with truth and revolutionary ideas that inspires listeners and readers to not only make a difference in their own personal lives but also in the community. Sun of Man desires to be a voice for those that are oppressed, afflicted and depressed. In his message he speaks to many that are dealing with the struggles of life yet
