  Mercury Retrograde May 2009
  

   

  Mercury goes retrograde on the 7th of May and it promises to be a doozy.  Why is that? To begin with it goes retro in its own ruling sign, Gemini.  More than likely, most astrologers believe Chiron has taken over rulership of Virgo.  Mercury still reigns supreme in the sign of its exaltation, Virgo -- its best placement  -- but it still rules the PR sign of the zodiac - Gemini.  So, after following Mercury's trials and travails for over 20 years, in my humble experience, (not opinion *grin*) its effects tend to be more powerful in air signs, particularly at his home sign of Gemini. Meanwhile, in the Mayan calendar we've left the "Age of Power," which was an age that began when corporations received the same rights as individuals which was to represent themselves legally in courts of law and we've entered the "Age of Ethics."  Just in case you don't think corporations are powerful ... you may be living under a rock, I don't know, many corporations have more cash flow than many countries.  Is this good?  Well, power is required before one can enter the Age of Ethics.  Starving mothers who steal to feed their children are a great deal less likely to be encountering massive karma, than a very wealthy individual who is robbing from the poor to feed the rich.   Voila, low and behold upon us is the "Age of Ethics," to come and sort this out, witness "Enron," and an number of other recent debacles coming to light. Why is this important under a Mercury retrograde?  Because under Mercury retrograde -- ME RX -- for short, the truth will out.  I do not believe that you cannot sign contracts under a Mercury retro.  My largest recent deal was begun under an ME Rx, and closed during the next ME Rx.  And, in that time, a great deal of truth about the deal came out.  But I and the person who initiated the deal, were both completely honest with each other and everyone else.  I will share that his wife's antics were less than "above board," and she'll be hitting the road as her lies spilled during that ME Rx. So, how do you use this to your own best advantage?  First, be careful and cautious.  Dot your i's and cross your t's, the devil's in the details.  Secondly, do your research, anything you want to be able to get inexpensively, or information you need to move forward most rapidly, will now come to light.  Secrets are toast.  We're rapidly moving into the fourth dimension, don't bother, it's all on the table.  If what you have is excellent, and you present with integrity, people will be interested. If you're honest with others and yourself, you'll easily be able to trust your intuition and synchronistic events will fall into place like finding their way like homing pigeons to truth and beauty.  If you're needing information about your health, your company, your software, your cash flow, your core belief systems which shape your reality -- not your thoughts -- than now is the time to uncover as much as you have the courage to muster.   For more on core belief systems see YouTube's Bashar. We're in a new world.  No longer is Gemini's Mercury bringing information through major media outlets but each one person's voice counts, yours too.  You are important.  As the poem "Desiderata," says, you have a right to be here, you are a beautiful addition to our world, your passion can change our world for the better ... one person at a time.  Believe in yourself, have faith in yourself, and know that you are Divinely Loved by the Universe.
