Leaders from Libya, Israel, Iraq, and the Palestinians will address the United Nations General Assembly, which is meeting this week in New York City. Leaders from all 193 member nations are invited to address the international governing body at the opening of its term.

On Tuesday, President Obama delivered his fourth address to the General Assembly. He opened by speaking about Ambassador Chris Stevens, who was killed in Libya among regional unrest. He said "the events of the last two weeks are not simply an assault on America," but an assault on the ideals of the UN.
