A New Day Reviews the UNITED NATIONS 66th General Assembly

"O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Over the past few weeks, the nations of the earth have convened at the U.N., to hash out the intertwining and contentious issues of the day. Not to go unnoticed, was the absence of Colonel Qaddafi, who'd been ousted from power, due to the military actions of both the USA and NATO. Perhaps the most significant and controversial issue on the table, is the desire of the Palestinian Authourity to petition for full Statehood before the body of nations, a move which is opposed by both Israel and the United States, with the latter, promising to veto it.

"The time is now for the Palestinian Spring, the time for independence" - words from Authority President Abbass that rang with purpose and historic meaning for not only the Palestinian people, but with all who truly believe in self-determination and freedom.

The A New Day 4 Al-Islam Aftershow will review this and other issues regarding the U.N.'s General Assembly, and how Muslims and all people of consciousness may look at them from a critical eye.
