Dr. Hines has practiced therapy in both private sectors and nonprofit organizations, taught at regional and comprehensive universities in Florida, written numerous publications and is currently writing research on children, teens, adolescent behavior, and families—including group counseling for couples and a recent article on marriage titled Marriage: Making a Difference?. Dr Luis Hines specializes in mood disorders (depression and anxiety) and psycho cultural issues of African-Americans. His extensive clinical and educational experience is demonstrated by his unwavering dedication to his family, clients, and multi cultural community. Practicing as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Certified School Counselor, Rehabilitation Counselor, National Board Counselor, and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT). He received his Doctor of Philosophy Degree from The Union Institute and University and Doctor of Ministry from Revelation Message Bible College. Dr. Hines is a certified member of the USPTA (United States Professional Tennis Association) and also works with athletes who have performance anxiety issues. He has authored a variety of articles and book chapters published in various media. He completed a Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Psychology at Palmer Theological Seminary. He Earned his Ph. D. in Counseling Psychology at Temple University as a Bilingualism Fellow. Dr. Collins is currently the proprietor of the Pastoral Counseling Network and lives in PA with his wife and family.
