Tonight, we are teacahing on Egungun and how they are celebrated in Mother Afrika, Akaboland, Nigeria-Southwest Afrika to be exacat.  Egungun festival is iipart of the Yoruba system sometimes referred too as "OrisaA".  Awon Egungun i.e. Ancestors are customarily celebrated in ritual through Massquerade.  An Elder from the Egungiun's family called "ALAFBA"  sometimes presides over the Ancestral Rites, but egungiun priest(esses) ae the ones in charge of invoking in praiyeir the sprit of the Ancestor and bringing then out or bring d own the spirit of the deceased person.  When the worshipers,k family members and general audience are dancing,drumming and singing they are invoking the spirit of the deceased persond lead by Egungun Priest/esses.  When possession or mounting occurs, it is assured that their prayers have been successfuil.  Please, join us tonight on BR T8:00 p.m. est by calling 347 398 8392.
