The Ananda Leeke Show includes episodes of Blogatique with Ananda Leeke. People. Passions. Politics. which features lively and thoughtful conversations with a culturally diverse group of people about their personal experiences, professions, passions, politics, and presence online. Each show includes a discussion about President Barack H. Obama's policies, programs, and/or press coverage featured on WhiteHouse.gov. Leeke's visit to the White House with the Blogging While Brown Conference attendees for a meeting with Corey Ealons, former Director of African American Media, in June 2010 inspired her to launch the radio show. She was also inspired by her participation as a Blogalicious B-Link live blogger for President Obama's education reform speech at the National Urban League's Centennial Conference in July 2010. After attending the BlogHer 2010 Conference's White House Project session held in August 2010, Leeke decided to use her show as a platform to highlight Obama administration policies and activities that impact people of color and women. In addition, each show offers dialogue with a community of listeners who call in, participate in the chat room, or use Twitter. The Ananda Leeke Show also features author chats, yoga and stress-relief tips, and creativity and social media coaching tips. Leeke is a lawyer turned author, artist, yoga teacher, coach, and innerpreneur. She penned That Which Awakens Me: A Creative Woman's Poetic Memoir of Self-Discovery (2009 - available on Amazon.com) and Love's Troubadours - Karma: Book One (2007 - debut novel available on Amazon.com).
