You've written a blog and just about to click Publish, but wait, there are a few tactics to employ first: keyword searches, intersperse thru-out blog (headline, first two sentences, keywords and tag words); Read other content related to your post and write your own angle and reference their blog post (linking) in your blog;Consider adding plug-in's (Tweetmeme, Facebook like,(or share or recommend), Install the Wibiya toolbar and add your profiles, use the free Contact Me form), install OnlyWire plugin (you need to add your profiles to Onlywire) so your content gets bookmarked and shared across newssites, bookmark sites, Twitter, etc.; Set up automated tweets with Hootsuite so it feed through out the month into Twitter (or Facebook or Linkedin), change up the headlines, also add the URL to Fastpitchnetworking, BizSugar, BizNik, and relevant Linkedin Groups. Then comment on other content posted in LI, comment on other blogs that are relevant to your posts. Use Wordtracker or https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal, see what people are searching for; Set up RSS Graffiti to feed your blog into your FB Page or profile; Have a call to action at the end of your blog) Have QUESTIONS about social media methodology or tools? Feel free to contact me at analucia.novak@gmail.com or 650-918-6077. Want to be a GUEST on my show, shoot me an email with proposed topic, mini bio.
