The people have spoken. And in an even louder voice than the media can cover to this point. Not only did the Republican steamroll gain at least 60 seats in the House—the biggest swing by either party in 62 years—and another six seats in the Senate, but in a widely underreported story so far, they also completely rocked the world at the state level, completely flipping 17 state legislatures, including the likes of North Carolina, which hasn’t seen a Republican majority since 1870. So, what does all this really mean? Outside of the individual races, what do these election results say collectively to those who will serve the next two years? Will Obama really seek genuine compromise? Will Boehner? Or can we expect 48 months of gridlock? And, if so, is that a bad thing? And what about the Tea Party? Will its glaring disdain for the status quo force all these new Republicans to finally live up to their party’s ideals? We'll get analysis from former congressman Bob Beauprez and Pinecone Conservatives' Greg Dildilian. Let's discuss this Saturday!
