GHOST HUNTERS regular Britt Griffith is not only a steady, perceptive force on Syfy's franchise paranormal investigation show, but now he's an indie horror movie filmmaker, with starring roles in THE BLACK DAHLIA HAUNTING, and forthcoming DEAD SEA, TO RELEASE A SOUL, A GRIM BECOMING, and THE ZODIAC LEGACY.
Britt was born and raised in Southern California and worked in Hollywood from a young age in a variety of behind the scenes roles including paging, security, props, set building and production assisting. Then, in his late twenties, Britt ventured off the Hollywood path and worked a blue-collar job running heavy equipment at an asphalt manufacturing plant for 13 years.
One of Britt's lifelong hobbies is investigating claims of the paranormal, which led him to a friendship with Jason Hawes. In 2008 Jason reached out to Britt and asked if he would like to assist on an important case they had coming up. Britt said yes, and now finds himself working all over the world in front of the camera investigating the paranormal as part of the GHOST HUNTERS team.
Having grown up with dyslexia, Britt knows first-hand the challenges those with dyslexia have and during his years in school, was greatly helped by the Dyslexia Foundation research program at Chapman University. To give back, Britt spends his free time mentoring kids with learning disabilities.
