Travesty in our midst: Indigent American Adults with Chronic Disabilities

America's Forgotten need to be remembered and assisted. Why must we needlessly suffer in abject poverty, unable to get access to Medicaid while we wait for Social Security Disability Determination, which can take years? Why leave us with nothing while we are unable to work or get health care? It all starts here, Grass roots America's Forgotten, cuz that has been my life for nearly a decade now. I know there are those without parents like mine... homeless, hungry, in physical pain and suffering and eventually dead. We start here... to build that bridge to a more equitable tomorrow.
