Is the Front Sight 4-Day Practical Rifle Course actually worth it? if you would have asked me on Day 1, I would have said, “Hell no, not a chance, I didn’t sign up for this bootcamp,” however, four days later I shot the course under timed pressure and only missed one shot. So now that the dust has settled, I’d say yes… it was more than worth it and I highly suggest it to anyone who is serious about preparedness.
Today, on the Gun Show, Dave Womach will be breaking down parts of the course, what the lessons were, and why everyone needs to learn these. Many might bring up the question about the difference between tactical training, and marksmanship. The reality is that the majority of rifleman in the army are not trained in marksmanship. However, as a prepper, you’ll not have to think very long to understand how much better you’ll be if you actually apply some marksmanship to your tactics… you’ll be a formidable opponent against anyone who wishes to do you harm, even if they know more about tactics.
From reloads, to coaches, timed pressure and shooting positions, we’ll break it all down to get you on a path to successful training, whether you make it out to front sight or not.
