Award-Winning Singer-Songwriter Alex Woodard Shares "For the Sender"

Singer-songwriter and author Alex Woodard has toured nationally behind five critically-acclaimed albums and shared the stage with some of today's most popular acts. Alex Woodard was letting go of his best friend, a Labrador named Kona, and most of his dreams when he received a letter that would change the course of his life. What began as a song about that letter evolved into a book and album package about real-life letters, featuring Grammy-winning artists and a live show that sold out every performance and inspired thousands in its first few months. Joining a family of prominent musicians, Alex created “For The Sender,” which features his story of release and redemption.

For The Sender: Love Is (Not a Feeling) which will be released February 25th on Hay House is the second installment in the series, this time featuring five letters and the songs they inspired, set against Woodard’s transition from urban sprawl to wide open landscape with the help of a very special horse.
