Breakthrough Companies - Rhino Off-Road Industries Breaking Barriers

Taking the time to highlite a company that has found a unique nitch, Rock Crawlers and Extreme Off-Road Competition. After researching this company, it looks like it is really positioned to expand.

  • Date / Time:

Upcoming Industries - Rhino Off-Road Industries

I have recently been looking for companies that have looked for, and expanded into certain "Nitch" arenas. One of these companies is Rhino Off-Road Industries. Currently only a penny stock (Rhino Stock) at 2 or 3 cents per share. I am not pushing the stock, I like the company and the product. I am hoping that the company can withstand all of the start-up costs and grow into a mega company that lasts a long time.

I must admit, while I have no ties to the company, I do love the products they are manufacturing and marketing. I am an avid 4x4 enthusiast and really enjoy Rock Crawling. They are combining Off-Road fun, Rock Crawling, and Competition into one business model. They look like they are trying to cover all aspects of the business into one.

They currently own the W.E. Rock Extreme Off-road series. I've seen some of the footage from this competition and it looks real good. I plan on working on getting one of their Rock Crawlers when possible.

CItrus Ford in Ontario California and KIA Motors Refuse to Honor Warranty

Citrus Ford in Ontario California continues to completely ignore my requests to have them repair my KIA transmission. This is especially troubling because they were already authorized to repair the transmission and did in fact collect the money from KIA Motors and did replace the transmission.

The problem is, the problem was never fixed and they are refusing to stand behind their workmanship. SHAME on you Citrus Ford.

The fact that Citrus Ford performs such dismal service and mis-diagnosed the problem to begin with, does not absolve KIA Motors from their responsibility to complete the warranty work as required by law. SHAME on you KIA Motors.

Well, I am pleased to report that one listener has decided to buy a KIA because of the 100,000 mile warranty, however, she bypassed Citrus Ford and purchased her car from Shaver KIA in San Bernardino, California. Kudos to the sales staff at Shaver KIA for their no haggle attitude.

Let's only hope that thier service department upholds their end of the bargain and creates satisfied customers.

The Internet meets business. What is the consequence of inaction?

In days gone by, business had the upper hand in dealing with the customer. As the internet grows and becomes a true network collaboration of information, businesses must be more saavy to prevent poor business decisions from creating dissatisfied customers.

    Citrus Ford Sucks!

After giving the dealer the opportunity to actually correct a transmission problem and getting nothing but a run around, I had enough.....

  • Date / Time:

Citrus Ford in Ontario California SUCKS!

Well, Citrus Ford and Kia Warranty have both decided that they are NOT going to stand behind their products. What a shame!

When I first had my transmission problem I took the Kia Spectra to Citrus Ford in Ontario California. The car is still covered under the 100,000 mile drivetrain warranty. As stated in earlier posts, the dealer fought me all the way with the Kia Warranty claim. They threw up road block after road block and were even lying to the reps from Kia about what I had or had not submitted. My understanding is that Citrus Ford fired the service rep because of his attitude and actions.

Eventually, Kia agreed to replace the transmission under warranty. Basically, when I put it in 1st gear in the mornings, it slams back and forth between 1st and 2nd gear. Both the dealer and Kia have assessed the situation and tell me this is normal for an automatic transmission. Yeah, RIGHT!

They both cannot understand why I would ever put the gear shift lever in 1st gear and drive in first. I have tried to explain that I am not "driving", we are talking about 5 to 15 miles per hour in a parking structure or steep incline. They keep telling me that everything is normal.

WELL, You make the decision. Here is a video of the first 2 minutes of my drive. I put the car in 1st gear as a demo for the video. Can you imagine expecting 1st to hold you back on a hill or trying to drive in snow like this? TURN UP YOUR VOLUME. This happens every morning if the car is cold. After the transmission was replaced under warranty, it still didn't work right. I took it back to the dealer and their basic stance was, "Well, you never should have got the first transmission for free.." Citrus Ford has refused to stand behind their workmanship that they were already authorized to do. Citrus Ford was already given approval by KIA to fix the transmission problem and they supposedly did the work.

The problem is, their work was shoddy and did not correct the problem. Imagine, you take your car into a dealer because the paint is all pealing and bubbling. The dealer begrudgingly gets approval to fix the problem from the manufacturer and they "FIX THE PROBLEM."

However, they actually paint the wrong part of the car and the paint is still pealing and bubbling.Who's problem is this? I don't think that this is MY problem, hell, they already got paid by the manufacturer........

At this point, I really don't care who fixes the car, I just want it fixed. KIA has been no better. They won't stand behind their product and are using some lame excuse as to why it is NOT covered now.I'll keep you posted
