Once you make a decision and act upon it, your actions be it good or bad are are forever etched in history. Thats why its important to be mindful of what you say and what you do to people. It is even more important how you listen and respond to God when he speaks and or gives instructions. Saul made the same assumption as we... all do when we make a mistake, He sincerely said he was sorry, and hoped that it would change Gods choice of action. That wasnt the case here. His choice of disobedience caused God to REPENT... wow, how about that. How many times have we ignored God, or not done what we should. Have you ever caused God to REPENT and withdraw some treasure he had for you? Whew! makes me "shm". Sauls election to please people and not God caused Saul the kingdom. No repeats or hesitations. I dont know about you, but I dont want to forefeit anything that the Lord has in store for me, especially in this season. Let us make a conscious effort to obey the Word and Will of the Lord.
