Patricia Hall is an Author, Poet, Spoken Word Artist, Smooth Jazz Radio Announcer, Motivational speaker, and Certified Travel Consultant, and most recently Jazz Event Promoter. She rears from New Haven, CT and stated that it just seemed natural to become involved in Radio Broadcasting after two cousins and one of her brothers paved the way. Before moving to NC Pat was Music Director for KNON Community Radio in Dallas, TX, and an Electronic Technician at KDFW TV in Dallas as well as writing for B.R.E. (Black Radio Exclusive) during the early 90’s.

Pat serves as the Smooth Jazz Director and is an Announcer for 90.5 FM, WSNC on the campus of Winston Salem State University. She Emcee's for the “Coltrane Jazz Festival” in High Point, NC, and the “Downtown Jazz in the Park Series” at the Corpening Plaza every summer introducing Smooth Jazz Artists as well as interviewing them on her radio show.  Pat has been nominated by the Black Women in Jazz & the Arts Awards Association for “Best Black Female Jazz Radio Host” in 2014.

In 2013 Patricia released her debut CD Spoken Word Project “But Tomorrow is Sunday and Jazz Is” available at CD Baby, Amazon, and other on-line sources, as well.  Her Published book of Poetry, “Ammunition for God's Soldiers,” is available on Patricia's website at www.Patriciahallstudios.net as well as local venues in the area.  Patricia also has pieces published in Inacubula Scholar Journal Spring 2014.

In addition to the Radio Station, Patricia is also a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, The Bookmark Festival, and participates in events at Salem College like judging writing contests and participating in Poetry Readings while attending Salem College and studying Creative Writing.
