I have been all things to all men
I traveled across the land
Searching for a path
I did not understand
That I was the way
And the way was me
In every breath
I capture the essence
Of all beings
No matter where on this planet
Every creature requires
Breath
In some way
Inhaling life deeply
Sea Sand Beaches
I’ve crossed great waters
Wandering when my tears would dry
And again
I tried harder to walk in peace with all men
Being all things to all people
Except me
I bowed down to a lesser god
Laying down acknowledgment
To the Goddess
For I was still the way
And the way to me is forged
On stones well walked, indeed
I have stood by the burning bush
My face ashen
Weathered in a different way
There is wisdom about my temples
Or so they say
I thought it was my mind
Constantly doing
Having to be shown
Proven too
Stubbornness kept me going
Purpose gives way to destiny
I was the way and the way was me
Outlandish had I been
Brazen was my sin
Lascivious behavior bolted me to the stone
My liver to forever be plucked
My penance for betraying myself
Those were the days that I loathed myself
Lately I get lost in the wind
I listen to God telling me again and again
Listen and hear
Purpose has a pathway
You must see
You must learn
And you must endure to the end, you see
Life is a pathway
It is that no one goes
The journey, Unprepared
You have to be thankful for every breath
I am the way
And the way is me
My soul leads my being
Freeing, spirit leading
Giving sight to new eyes
Everyday
Closer to me
Release of the minds unavailing thoughts
Spirit and Purpose
Revel in your path...
