Comic-Con show moves to Sunday; Jonathan Frakes on July 30 show

    Hello, everyone!

We had some technical difficulties on the hotel's end of our Saturday night show at Vulkon Orlando, but we posted an edited version of the show that took out all the gaps caused by the dial-up speed Internet connection we seemed to have there, lol!

Wanted to point out some changes to the schedule, especially with this weekend's show at Comic-Con International in San Diego.

My schedule at Comic-Con is CONSTANTLY changing. If I knew that it would be this bad, I would've hired someone to take care of all the scheduling for me, and just direct me to where I needed to go.

Because of that, doing a show Saturday night is just not going to work. One of the things I found out in doing the Vulkon show is that some of the audio editing takes a bit longer than I realized. We had to delay the Vulkon show by an hour because it took me all the ways up to an hour before showtime to edit the audio we used in the show, and then it took forever to upload it.

Also, I ended up being scheduled for an event Saturday night at about the same time we're supposed to be doing the radio show.

Because of all of that, I decided to look for a different timeslot that might work, and I chose Sunday at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT. There seems to be little going on that I am interested in during that time period at the convention, and it would give me time to edit and upload audio.

I would do it later, like after the convention (especially since my plane doesn't leave until late Sunday night), but I don't know if they will let me hang out in the convention center after it's all over with, and I will already be checked out of my hotel, so I can't even go back there and do it.

So listen for our Comic-Con show Sunday at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT right here at BlogTalkRadio.com/SyFyRadio.

Don't forget that Wednesday night we welcome George Takei to our live show beginning at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. You don't want to miss the show!

Also, when we do our "Greatest Hits, Vol. 1" clip show on July 30, yes, you'll hear some of the best segments of past shows ... but we are offering you something original. We have some great audio of Jonathan Frakes' appearance at Vulkon Orlando last weekend, and we'll be presenting you some highlights of that during that show. So make sure you tune in!
