Alpha Waves Radio

If you missed our first SyFy Sunday show (yes, I'm looking at YOU Laura, lol!), then you can still hear all of it right here at BlogTalkRadio!

We're still playing with the format a little bit, but I think it turned out great. However, after just one show, we do have a couple of changes.

First off, we're expanding the show to 90 minutes. We'll see if the callers and such will carry the show, but I know that yesterday, I had to cut everyone off, and we didn't even get to "Battlestar Galactica" yet. I think expanding it by another 30 minutes will be great.

Also, you know how we always bring in a member from the SyFy Portal staff after the headlines? Well, for SyFy Sunday, that person will now stay on through the rest of the show as the co-host. If you listen to the first show, we kept columnist Ed Left on for most of the show, and he was awesome. He and Raissa got into a great conversation, and I think it's awesome to have another perspective there.

So expect beginning next Sunday at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT more time, more phone calls from people like YOU!, and a co-host. :)

I will continue to host SyFy Sunday through the end of May (remember that on Memorial Day weekend, SyFy Sunday will not air because we're doing a special broadcast Saturday night from Oasis 21 in Orlando). After that, I will host probably every other week, which will allow some of our other staff members to step in and run the SyFy Sunday show.

I'm sure it will be great!

I will continue hosting the regular SyFy Radio show on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT, so no worries there. :)

Don't forget that this week we have Joe Beaudoin Jr. from Battlestar Wiki, and in just a few weeks, we'll be bringing on David Gerrold, the famous writer of the "Star Trek" episode "Trouble With Tribbles." That will take place May 21 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
