  A few bugs ... but SOME CHANGES
  

  I'm very relieved to have gotten through our first official night, even if we did start everything off with a huge glitch. 

  
  

  For some reason, Blog Talk Radio decided to open the show with our old opening from our test show, and not the new opening that features the wonderful voice of Sarah Chase. But I did correct it, played the new opening anyway, and it should be all set for future shows.

  
  

  Before I get too far in this post, I did want to let everyone know that Friday's "Battlestar Galactica" special will be the final show that will air so late at night on the east coast. That show is scheduled for 11:30 p.m. ET and will run to 12:30 a.m. ET.

  
  

  However, beginning with our April 9 show, SyFy Radio is moving to 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. I think that 11 p.m. is just a little late for everyone involved, and now that the 10 p.m. timeslot is available to us, I think we should take advantage of it. So please let everyone know!

  
  

  Thanks to all of our great guests! We had Daniel Malen, Webmaster of www.thetvaddict.com who talked a lot about the world of television and science-fiction, and it was great to have him stay up so late to talk to us out of Toronto.

  
  

  We also had Wayne Hall, news editor of SyFy Portal, calling us from Washington, D.C., who chatted a little bit about the news of the week, including Lucy Lawless saying true "Battlestar Galactica" fans are fans who don't read spoilers. Not at SyFy Portal, dear. Not at SyFy Portal.

  
  

  Finally, we had a great call from Jarrod Cooper, a writer with Doctor Who News Online, formerly of Outpost Gallifrey, who was calling us from Cardiff, Wales, where "Doctor Who" is about to premiere its fourth season on BBC. It was great to talk about rumors about "Doctor Who" and "Torchwood," and to get some insight on all of that.

  
  

  Upcoming shows include David Weddle and Bradley Thompson, writers of "Battlestar Galactica," in our special Friday show at 11:30 p.m. ET. We return to Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on April 9 with Eugene Roddenberry Jr., April 16 with Darren Sumner of GateWorld, and April 23 with Joe Beaudoin Jr. of Battlestar Wiki.
