Wisdom Wednesday; When to take action on a compliment at work

Someone on your team compliments how good you are at your job.  You receive public recognition by your boss for a job well done.  A senior leader in the organization taps you on the shoulder and says you would make a great supervisor (manager, director, VP).  So what do you with these compliments?  Maybe you immediately dust off your resume and start applying for promotion or maybe you do nothing!  How do you know when to take action?  Today we discuss when to make moves and when to simply stay put and say 'Thank You'.
