Recently, the Supreme Court denied a young man who claims antidepressants caused him to murder his grandparents an appeal. Christopher Pittman was imprisoned for 30 years for the double-murder he committed at age 12, days after he began the second of two antidepressant medications. I want to discuss whether people believe this sort of punishment is right for children or if the court should be more lenient to minors.
