After an hour spent discussing the visual medium, F4F Radio returns to the written word for Hour Two as we welcome award-winning author Julie Anne Peters to the show.  Peters, who typically addresses hard topics that affect teenagers and the LGBTQ community, such as the coming out process, bullying, suicide, domestic abuse, and parental rejection, is best known for writing popular "young adult" novels like "Between Mom & Jo", "Keeping You a Secret", and "Luna".  At a time when parents, schools, and even state legislatures are still trying to prevent children from even seeing the word "gay", much less reading a book that depicts gay and lesbian teenagers in a positive light, Peters' books can often be found on a shelf in your local bookstore or library.  We'll discuss her novels, as well as the issues she deals with in them, and which real-life LGBTQ youth has to deal with every day.  Joining me as my cohost will be BurningEden, a three-time guest who was on most recently to discuss the 'Calzona' pairing from "Grey's Anatomy".
