All Thumbs in Austria -- The Writer's Block  

Dad used to tell me I was an artist trapped in a soldier's body. He wanted me to write that bestseller so he could retire. Call me an American alien living in the New Vienna. I am here to wake up the "artist" and to write what I see. They're just stories, but I get to tell them. I'm convinced Dad's still somewhere waiting for that book, so I have to start somewhere! Ob auf Englisch oder auf Deutsch sind Kunstler Schriftsteller und Pilger willkommen. Es war unbedingt der Lebenstraum, in einem deutschsprächigen Land wieder zu wohnen. Im Versuch das Leben einfach zu machen, konzentriere mich auf drei Sachen: To walk, to teach and to write. Also los geht's!
