"All Things Phantom" - Byron Nease - Actor/Singer

We are very blessed to have on our show today Byron Nease, who played Raoul in over 1,700 performances of the Toronto production of The Phantom of the Opera, along side Rebecca Caine and Colm Wilkinson. He will share his experiences in playing Raoul and the Phantom in the Yeston/Kopit production. His book, "Behind the Mask No More," an autobiography, was released this year. It's a moving tale about dealing with our own demons, hiding behind our own masks, and having the courage to reveal our true self to those around us. Of course, in the end, when the mask comes off, like the Phantom, all we wish for is unconditional love. Give a warm welcome to Byron!

"All Things Phantom" - Sadie Montgomery, Author

Sadie Montgomery, Author, will be joining us today. She has written the very popular Phantom of the Phoenix series that now comprise a total of five novels. Here is a synopsis of the beginning of her series: "The Phantom of the Opera had released the love of his life, Christine Daaé, from his possession and retreated to his subterranean lair—to die. Young Meg Giry remained fascinated with her friend’s captor, whom she would not permit to destroy himself. Through Meg’s care the Phantom returns to life and makes his courageous savior his protégeé. But can the Phantom, hunted by Parisian authorities and Christine’s husband, the dashing Count de Chagny, escape his criminal past? Can he forget his first beloved or will he continue to haunt Christine, as she does him? Will Meg, who hungers for his love, be able to heal his heart and make him her own? The Phoenix of the Opera explores the limits of redemption and the power of love, taking us into the tortured souls of its protagonists. It is a grand tale of despair, obsession, rekindled passion, and the power of love." Please give a warm welcome to my special friend, Sadie!
