At the time, UConn faithful might not have realized what a special talent quarterback Billy Cundiff was after he transferred to Ashland University to be closer to home in Ohio. But after the career he had with the Eagles I’m sure they had to say at least once “what is Billy would have stayed”. Cundiff was 2009 Second Team GLIAC and the 2008 GLIAC Player of the Year. Amazing statistic is his 24 touchdowns passes compared to his one interception this past season. That’s right folks one interception.
