Turner earned 2009 Second Team All Mountain West honors while sharing time with three other running backs all with over 100 carries, yet Turner still managed to stand out helping the Horned Frogs to finish fifth in the nation in rushing yards per game with 239.5. The added dimensional I eluded to earlier is his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield something he couldn’t showcase much in the run heavy TCU offense.
