Peter Sorcher produced and directed 'Eat The Sun', a thought provoking film documentary, and story of one man’s journey into the little-known world of sungazing; a worldwide growing practice of looking directly at the sun for a specified time, to derive physical and spiritual benefits. Sungazing invites people to question beliefs that influence reality and limit potential. 2012 makes this film timely.
Story Line: San Francisco 2004: A school flyer reads. You can become solar powered, sparking the imagination of a young man named Mason. The lecturer is an elderly Indian man who goes by the acronym HRM. As a result of sungazing HRM had not eaten in 8 years. [His pineal gland [psychic awareness] is 3 X larger than most people.
Peter Sorcher spent 11 years in NYC honing storytelling + branding skills as a commercial + documentary film editor with Red Car. He worked on commercials for Nike, Coke, Reebok, IBM, North Face, + edited documentary films that garnered theatrical + televised release. Advertising and commercials taught Peter how to succinctly and artfully blend story, style and message. His meticulous and obsessive view that every frame counts, flows through all his work. Eat The Sun is Peter's first feature directorial debut. Watch it at Documentary Channel http://eatthesunmovie.com
