A.L. Harper

A.L. Harper is a freelance writer and motorbike fanatic originally from Salt Lake City, Utah but now living in Scotland. It is her dream to ride her motorbike around Russia and China. When not daydreaming about swimming naked in a hot spring in China she can be found indulging in one of her other interests – music, reading, art and wanking. A.L. grew up as a Punk/Goth in the 80’s and these artistic influences have stayed with her, although a love of Chopin, chamber music and Spanish guitar would seem to decry this. She is the Managing Editor of AllThingsGirl.com, the Assistant Music Editor at Blogcritics.org and is the driving force behind Blogcritics Band of the Week feature, profiling a different indie (unsigned/inde label) band every week (contact her for more information). She is also a freelance writer and is working on her first novel.
