Tonight on Alchemist Radio we celebrate a very important milestone. Hosts Bryan Levick and Mitch Ciccarelli will celebrate the one year anniversary of the creation of Alchemist Radio.

Leading off the festivities will be “The Fight Scientist” Reed Kuhn as he will review last weekend’s UFC Fight Night 37 and preview Saturday night’s UFC 171 PPV where we will see the crowning of a new welterweight champion when Johny Hendricks faces Robbie Lawler.

Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson and his dad Ray have been on more than any other guest besides Reed since Mitch & I began working together on the air. The Thompson’s are more than just guests, they are family. Stephen is coming off a 1st round TKO victory over Robert Whittaker at UFC 170. His performance banked him an extra $50k and was his third straight victory inside the Octagon.

In the co-main event of UFC 171, the winner has a very good shot at facing whoever the new welterweight champion is. Tyron Woodley will face Carlos Condit in what is without a doubt the biggest fight of his career. He took time out of his busy schedule to speak to Alchemist even though he had instructed his assistant to not book anymore interviews. Its people like Woodley who help make this show what it is and we always appreciate the time they take out to speak to us.

Greg Jackson is a very busy man these days as he will be in Dallas cornering Diego Sanchez for his bout against Myles Jury and Carlos Condit for his fight with Woodley. At UFC 172 Jon Jones will face Glover Teixeira for Jones UFC light heavyweight championship. He will discuss his new MMA belt system that he’s about to roll out. The system works like any other martial arts belt system as trainees start off at one belt and work their way up the ladder.
