Everyone knew it was going to be highly competitive. Bragging rights were at stake, as well as increased traffic into dealer showrooms.
The Texas Truck Rodeo is an annual event conducted by the Texas Auto Writers Association, test-driving 50 to 60 off-road vehicles in a variety of conditions.
At the 2012 Rodeo held in the Texas Hill Country near Bulverde, the Ram 1500 won top honors as Truck of Texas, the Jeep Grand Cherokee won SUV of Texas, and the Buick Enclave was named as CUV of Texas.
