    Warhammer available in Taiwan on June 25

    GigaMedia Ltd (GIGM) and Mythic Entertainment™, a studio of Electronic Arts Inc announced that the highly acclaimed fantasy MMORPG Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (WAR) will launch in Taiwan on June 25th. The game will be available on GigaMedia's game platform, FunTown, in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau, where players will now be able to choose a side in the growing War power leveling battle between Order and Destruction and help decide the outcome of the WAR across the globe!
    "Since launching WAR last fall, we've been dedicated to introducing the Warhammer Online universe to gamers the world over," said Jeff Hickman, executive producer for Mythic Entertainment. "We are pleased to invite Taiwanese recruits into the fight between Order and Destruction - the battle is far from over, so choose a side and join the WAR!"
    "We are thrilled to bring the exciting world of WAR to Taiwan and have had great success introducing the game," said Yautian Chen, General Manager of FunTown. "Now that the Realm War is finally here, we look forward to lots of fun special events as players jump in and the action builds."
    Launched in North America, Europe and Oceania in September of 2008 and in Russia in February of 2009, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is an epic fantasy MMORPG based on the popular tabletop game from Games Workshop. Featuring innovative Realm vs. Realm™ gameplay and Public Quests™, players are immersed in a world of perpetual conflict between the armies of Order and Destruction.
