Question: How to do you honor a mother you can't forgive? One of the main influences in a woman's life is her mother. Our culture sets high expectations for mothers, and many people hold them responsible for the good and the bad in a family. Recently, Oprah Winfrey revealed a "secret sister" whom her mother gave up for adoption over 50 years ago. Was that wrong? Should Oprah's mother have been ashamed of this? Mothers make all kinds of mistakes in life, but why is it so hard to see mothers as human beings? More importantly, why is it difficult to forgive mothers for their faults? If you have mother-issues or if you desire the love of Christ to help you as a mother and as a daughter, then join us on the air. We want to hear about mother-daughter relationships that are thriving and those that are barely surviving. God has a word for all of us in terms of being a parent and being a child.
