Join Becca Salamone as she talks with Greg Hartley about his involvement in the equestrian division of The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA).  Hartley, an Atlanta, Georgia resident, participates in SCA equestrian activities across the southeast.  His passion is for mounted combat, but he talks about all the different hobbies and interests SCA members can pursue at their events and why folks are attracted to this type of lifestyle. Their large meetings (from 500-15,000 SCA members) usually take place off the beaten path at venues that can accommodate them.  This weekend, Castle Wars XI: Throne of Games will take place at McIntosh Reserve Park in Whitesburg, Georgia.  Activities for all ages will be available and newcomers are always welcome to come out and observe this interesting way to enjoy one's horse, as well as to learn a little history!
