Jason Lawrence Tonight’s guest is Psychologist Tara Well. Dr. Well is a New York based author and professor of psychology at Barnard College and Columbia University. She has a Ph.D. in Personality Psychology from Michigan State University, and 20 years experience teaching, researching and writing about psychology, as well as extensive training in mind-body healing modalities, and meditation and Yoga. As Dr. Well puts it, her work focuses on what motivates people, and how motivation influences our perceptions. Tara is currently writing a book called, The Power of Self-Reflection, which is all about a technique she’s developed that starts with a practitioner looking at his or her reflection in a mirror. In this show Tara talks about the process of Self-Reflection, who needs it, and what the benefits can be for someone with a steady practice.
