Energizer on Wednesday introduced a new rechargeable AA battery that it says can be charged up to 500 times, about 150 more charging cycles than its predecessor.
A Swiss company developing a rechargeable zinc   Toshiba PA2522U battery technology for electric vehicles on Tuesday said it has chosen Portland as its U.S. headquarters, where it plans to one day employ 250 in its manufacturing operations.

The device builds on Motorola's MC9000, and many of the updates are market firsts.
