Then we will be joined by Shannon Wright who has been in the healthcare field for the last 14 yrs., from hospitals to home care.  She has been a political activist for the past 4 yrs.

According to a study presented before the U.S. Senate in 2002, between the years of 1999 and 2001, almost one third of nursing homes in the United States were cited for an abuse violation. It has only since then gotten worse as the study estimated both percentages would increase in coming years. Why caring for the elderly needs to be radically changed. Shannon will be giving us some ideas for answers!
