Some people assert that the Black Lives Matter Movement is the Civil Rights Movement of this generation.  Interestingly enough, many people indict conservative believers of the 1960s for remaining silent during the Civil Rights Movement.  That makes me wonder what history will say regarding how we respond to important social movements today.

What do you think?  Is the Black Lives Matter Movement a part of the modern-day Civil Rights era?  Is a person wrong for refusing to participate in social movements against injustice?  Join us this Saturday, July 23, at 12:30 PM EST/11:30 CST as we compare the Civil Rights and Black Lives Matter Movements and discuss how we should respond to social injustices during this important time in history.
