Dr. Brown is an assistant professor of History at UCLA and author of the book, "Fighting for Us" about the California-based Black nationalist organization "US" and its founder (who also founded Kwanzaa), Dr. Maulana Karenga. Dr. Brown will discuss his book, explain the significance of the Us organization, and provide general commentary on selected current events.
