Girls and Their Body Image

The media and advertising agencies of this society attempt to define a standard of beauty for our community, one that often is unrealistic, impractical, and dangerous to achieve. Too many beautiful sistahs have been led to believe that they are lacking, incomplete, or unattractive. In this episode of Real Talk, Brother Agyei addresses the issue of why so many Black girls and women have a negative body image, how this impacts them, and ways to identify the symptoms of having a negative body image.
