From my perspective, women who already have children don't have any grounds to claim they don't want men with kids... obviously they don't want a man who has children of his own because they want his attention to only go to their children. Funny how such women usually are the ones who get offended when a childless man says he won't date or marry a single mom.

A CHILDLESS man who has his stuff together and is looking to settle down in marriage most likely will NOT get with a woman who already has children because of the emotional and financial strains of a ready-made family. Besides, if the children adn young and in the mother's custody the man automatically becomes legally responsible and liable for child support payments if that marriage fails.

If tons of women are wasting their time trying to build up a man who's about nothing and doesn't commit to marriage the it's the woman's fault for picking that idiot because in the black American community the young man who has his head on straight is generally overlooked if he doesn't have money, a nice car with expensive rims, fly clothes, and "swagger."

If a woman was slutting it up in her youth then went celibate for a while before getting with me I still wouldn't marry her because I wouldn't be able to trust that she'd be faithful to me if I didn't measure up to the sexual prowess of previous lovers. Call me insecure if you want, but I'm NOT down with adultery.

Marriage is NOT a dead institution, but PEOPLE have changed for the worse and no longer believe in commitment.
