By now the world has heard the news and all R&B & Soul music fans are in mourning over the loss of one of the greatest entertainers of all time, Michael Jackson! Gone at just the age of 50, M.J. has left us with a musical legacy that is rivaled by few, and topped by none! Michael is responsible for breaking down barriers, like being the first African American artist to receive airplay on video channels like MTV at a time when only White rock groups and artists ruled at the network! He also has had numerous # 1 top 10 hits during his illustrious career and boasts the feat of owning the greatest highest selling album of all time with “Thriller” which received an incredible 8 Grammy awards when it came out, and had 7 #1 hits of it’s own! And of course we know the video of the same title went on to single handedly revolutionize the way music video’s are made forever. So many artists have been touched, influenced and inspired by his work (from Usher, Chris Brown, Sisqo, Ne-Yo, Ginuwine, Missy, Beyonce, etc.) and the timeless musical catalogue he leaves behind, which will be remembered throughout history for decades to come. So join us this Sunday June 28th at 5pm EST. as Supreme Entertainment pays tribute to the “King of Pop” and give his music, talent and legacy the honor and respect due it finally truly deserves! Share with us your thoughts about Michael and your favorite Michael Jackson song, video or memory!
