Ninety five percent of health care dollars are spent on urgent care and a measly five percent is going toward prevention. If these numbers were reversed the overall price of health care would plummet to fifty percent or greater.

There is, however, an underlying reason why we have this terrible system; why Americans pay the highest health care costs on the planet yet receive an inferior system of health care in which our longevity rate is ranked 20th worldwide and our infant mortality rate is ranked 20th s well.

The reason: our government has, since 1806, worked towards making “regular” medicine (conventional, drug based, allopathic) and has systematically maneuvered help the drug industry gain the monopoly. Tune in for the rest of the story Wed at 7:PM est.
