Kirk and Dburt) as they shed light on varied topics occurring the pulp-verse: our impressions of this weekend's release of the highly anticipated Fox produced Logan film; purportedly, the next two Avengers films will cost approx. 1 Billion dollars combined; I09 highlights the list of actors who were at one time being considered for roles in the first X-men film and it's quite trippy; trailers for Alien: Covenant and Guardians of The Galaxy (with Snake Plissken this time) hit the cyberwebs this week; casting news for Inhumans, X-Men TV series, Gotham, Deadpool 2, etc;  acting legend, Bill Paxton passes at 61; is,a Tron reboot necessary and does Jared Leto's attachment to this project make a difference?;  in a post Trumpian America, an Alabama drive-in theater purportedly refuses to show the live action version of Beauty and the Beast due to the inclusion of a gay character-is it that serious out here? (did the same theater have a problem with Get Out?);  after the stupendous recent outings of Logan and Get Out, isn't time to elevate award shows like Saturn, Scream, Hugo etc that honor the sc-fi/fantasy/horror genres (if the Oscars/Golen Globes won't)?; Dburt checks out the Mexican themed Legend Quest series at Netflix;  And lastly, New Line Cinema is looking to create a horror interpolation of The Wizard of Oz (Emerald City doesn't count, huh?).  Call the hosts live at 646-915-9620.
